Who is Peter Cooper?

Entrepreneur and enterprise software expert Peter Cooper, Broadcom Commercial & Enterprise Markets and Managed Partners Europe leader from 2021 to 2025, has 25 years of experience driving growth and transforming for some of the world’s most recognised cybersecurity companies. He has now moved to Island – The Enterprise Browser, helping to build an ecosystem that will make it more rewarding, faster and easier for its partners to boost the customer experience, secure their operations and stand out in a rapidly evolving landscape.

While Mr Cooper’s previous roles, such as his role at Broadcom, saw him repair, augment or accelerate legacy sales engines, his new position is an opportunity to build from the ground up in one of cybersecurity’s most exciting new categories, a challenge he fully embraces.

Professional Career

During his time at Broadcom, Mr Cooper was responsible for the rollout of the Aggregation Program across Europe. His remit was to overhaul the traditional distribution model via a disruptive approach to create a more proactive and engaged value creation entity. Mr Cooper cites the launch and scale of this project as one of his standout career achievements to date. Other notable achievements include the turnaround of underperforming sales teams and regions, channel revenue leadership exceeding $360 million across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and the securing of large-scale partner deals across regulated, complex industries.

Presentation Partners

As an entrepreneur, Mr Cooper owned and operated the audio-visual business Presentation Partners. One of the marketing campaigns he devised featured The Pinstripe Presenter, and this quickly became one of the business’s trademarks, with Mr Cooper not only owning a large collection of pinstriped suits but also buying them for his employees, too.

Animal Welfare Advocacy

During a recent visit to Thailand with his daughter, Mr Cooper was impressed with and touched by the work of the Soi Dog Foundation. This organisation has been operating for over 20 years to create lasting change for millions of cats and dogs in Asia, working to rescue and neuter stray animals and advocate for animal welfare. As well as making financial donations to this charity with his wife, Mr Cooper donated a coffee machine to the organisation’s staff during his trip.

He and his wife support each other’s professions and are both committed to excellence in their professional careers. Together, they co-founded a home-based dog grooming business, LoveMyGroomer.
